works as intended i guess June 17, 2010 Philip Alcantara (Miami, FL, US) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I live on Miami Beach, next to the ocean...It's very humid. I placed it in a small closet. It draws in about a cup of water per day, so I empty it out every couple days. My clothes don't really feel drier though...
Works well on shower doors April 16, 2010 Steve Strobel I got one of these to use in the shower, in spite of the fact that it is clearly intended for use on a car. The handle is unconventional for a shower squeegee, but I find it comfortable to use. A drawback for some might be the color; it is relatively large and mostly black.
It works well even on slightly "wavy" glass, leaving only a few small drops here and there. FWIW, I find it (and other shower squeegees) to work best when you wipe side-to-side, top-to-bottom like reading a book. It doesn't leave the glass dry enough that I would recommend it for a for a window-washer's squeegee like Pro Stainless Steel Window Squeegee, Rubber Grip Handle, 12" Wide UNGPR30, but I can't find one of those without metal that could scratch the shower if dropped.
STIFF blade is NOT SOFT LIKE THE CALIFORNIA BLADE April 13, 2010 Jill G C (San Francisco, CA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Just got this... the silicone blade is narrow and VERY STIFF, it does not conform to contours like the california jelly blade. This is only good for flat surfaces like glass. Dont buy this thinking you can dry your car with it because the silicone blade is so stiff.
Not as good as water blade April 2, 2010 Rob Zombie (California) It's ok, but if you care about your car you can get a water blade from amazon for a few more bucks.
not that good March 16, 2010 Martin Weege (Brazil, Jaraguá do Sul) Be careful, to clean really good you car before using this one, the silicon its harder then a california blade squeegee
California original blade are soft silicon and doesn't scratch that often as this product.
But i use it now for my house windows, and for these use it's great, for cars, well not for mine thank you.
the handling is not that good ether, it appears to be but it's not and because the silicon is harder, it works better on flat surfaces
The california blades i think are made for not so flat surfaces, i use them i know what im talking about
